Hell, you may come up with a new config that is better than anyone else's anyway. You do what you like and what works for you. This stuff ain't exactly that hard to figure out. DaVinci Resolve tends to get used only on the one screen as that suits it's interface.

A lot of times I'll get retouching projects that include both the InDesign files and a pdf to go with and ID palettes go on the second screen and so does the reference pdf in Acrobat Pro DX, or whatever the eff Adobe is calling it these days. For most other programs I'm using both - Ps, InDesign, etc. I don't uses Lr at all but in Capture One, I only use the Eizo. I don't like swinging my head back and forth and the image area is large enough to see what I am doing. Do you use the 2 display setup in LR or do you move the main LR window to the Eizo? So, I wanted to ask here to see what other people are doing. That's how I have it right now, but I noticed myself forgetting to look at the Eizo as I move the sliders in LR. I hope the PS Navigator uses the color management setting.

I saw an interesting video that showed how to use the PS Navigator on your second screen instead of moving the palates only. I was going to setup LR in a two window setup and adjust the develop setting on the iMac but look at the outcomes on the Eizo.

My plan was to, use the iMac for web browsing and mail and the occasional tutorial and then turn on the Eizo when I was going to process images. I know it wont be exact but if the brightness and colors gets close that would be great. I calibrated the Eizo with my i1 Display and ColorNavigator and I was going to use the i1 Display and i1 Profiler on the iMac. I will move the Eizo to the center and the iMac to right (for some odd reason I can turn to the right easier :0). Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it.

In fact, I just use the manual controls to get the iMac in the general ballpark of the Eizo. You'll never get the iMac to match the Eizo so don't spend too much time on calibration.

It only gets used for palettes and sometimes to park windows temporarily. My iMac is on the left but that's what feels more comfortable to me, and it's rotated in about 15 degrees or so and back a few inches.

Since the Eizo is going to be your main screen, I'd have that directly in front of you and put the iMac either to the right or the left. Should I flip the monitors around so the iMac is to the right and rotated and the Eizo is in front of me and parallel to my desk? I put the hood on to reduce the glare from the iMac and the lights in the room. The Eizo sits to the right and I have to rotate it about 40 degrees so my head does not have to move to scan the entire screen. Right now the iMac is the monitor to the front and slight left of me and is parallel to my desk. I have watched the videos on how to set them up, but I have no clue where the Eizo should be and where the iMac should be. I am looking for advice on the location of each monitor. Here is my question: I finally bit the bullet and bought an Eizo CS2740 as my editing monitor and I want to use my iMac as my second monitor. I tried searching dual monitor setup and desk tours on YouTube and in Google but I always get some ridiculous setups or setups for video editing.
